Common questions
Straight answers, no fine print.
01What does it cost?
Nothing to start — the free plan gives you tips and your two-minute assessment. HandyPal is $24.99 a month for meal plans, recipe advice and exercise advice, and SuperPal is $79.99 a month for your personal assistant, chef menus and body tracking. Pay for 3 months upfront and the 4th month is free — a 25% saving. Cancel anytime.
02Do I have to count calories?
No. Snap a photo or type a few words and we work out the food and the amounts for you.
03What if I have allergies?
Enter them once. Anything that clashes is flagged before you eat or cook it.
04Is this medical advice?
No. PlatePal is a guide to everyday eating only, based on national healthy-eating and activity guidance. It doesn't know your medical history, so please speak to your GP, an Accredited Practising Dietitian or your treating health professional before changing your diet, exercise or medication — especially if you're pregnant or managing a health condition.

Advice only — not medical care
PlatePal gives general information about healthy eating, movement and habits, drawn from national guidance. It is not medical, dietetic or clinical advice, and it does not take your medical history into account. Always speak to your GP, an Accredited Practising Dietitian or your treating health professional before changing your diet, exercise or medication — especially if you are pregnant, managing a health condition or taking medication.
